What types of land areas are present in the neighborhood and how are they maintained?

 

Lawns are mowed and irrigated by the Villas of Wilkinson Lake Home Owner Association.  Spring/fall cleanup of lawns is also provided.  Triming of shrubs and cleanup of the landscaped areas on the lot are the responsibility of homeowners. 

 

 

Many areas along streets are held in common and groomed by Villas of Wilkinson Lake Home Owner Association.  The Villas of Wilkinson Lake Home Owner Association is responsible for mowing, irrigating and maintaining shrubs and others landscaping in Groomed Common Areas.

 

 

Others areas are held in common and designated as "Nature Areas."  The purpose of these areas is to preserve a natural setting and to serve a habitat for wildlife of all kinds.    These areas are not irrigated or mowed.  Maintenance is minimal and targeted to removal of invasive species, to manage the growth of certain undesirable trees, to maintain the surface water drainage system and to limit the reproduction of mosquitos.
